The European Young Researcher Award (EYRA), is given by EuroScience every two years to young researchers showing exceptional research achievement.
The prizes are granted in two categories: Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral researchers. It aims at encouraging early-career researchers to integrate a European dimension and context in their research. The European dimension must be very clear: either embedded in a collaboration of researchers on a European level or the research is conducted in a European country. The research needs to be of demonstrably excellent quality. It should inspire others, and reach out to wider audiences.
